Taken July 2019 around the Yokohama area, and further down the Miura Peninsula. In Japan, of course.

This entire trip was inspired by fictional locations from one of my favorite manga. I wanted to capture the landscape the story took inspiration from. It took me the entire day to reach these locations, and I had many more in mind. Alas, I was leaving Japan in less than a week, and I had a lot to take care of before I could depart. I walked, I bused, I trained aall the way from Tokyo to the almost southernmost point of the Miura Peninsula. It would be an exaggeration to call this trip some sort of pilgrimage, but many do refer to this kind of trip as such. All I knew, was that I didn’t want to miss my chance to visit these places, which have brought me comfort in the form of a fictional story.
