Taken between August 2019-March 2020.

A series of black and white pictures that I took in San Diego, Santa Barbara, and places in between. I sought to visualize an ominous and beautiful feeling. I added the title of a song from the album, Kaputt, to each picture. I went with my guts when it came to choosing how each song fit each image. The pairings may not make sense on the surface, but on a poetic level I feel like they do, which is how Destroyer’s music makes sense to me.
